Major-Related clubs
전공관련 동아리
학생들은 ‘전공 동아리’를 조직하여 학과 단독으로, 혹은 조형 대학내 타학과와 연합으로 다양한 활동을 진행하며 전공영역의 폭과 깊이를 더해가고 있다.
동아리를 통해 학생들은 크고 작은 전시와 바자를 기획하고, 장소, 공간, 콘텐츠, 전시 방법, 유통 등 스스로의 작품 세계를 최대한 담아낼 수 있는 다양한 기회와 경험을 적극적으로 취하고 있다. 한편 한시적으로 ‘공모전 동아리’를 구성하여 특정 공모전의 매년 변화하는 전형이나 수상작 연구, 기참가자의 경험 공유, 지도 교수의 크리틱 등 준비 과정을 함께 하기도 한다.
Students organize ‘major-related clubs’ and perform various activities in the Department alone or in cooperation with other departments within the College of Design, adding the breadth and depth of the major-related knowledge.
Through the club, students plan and organize large and small exhibitions and bazaars, and actively create various opportunities and experiences that can maximize their own design perspectives, such as location, space, contents, exhibition methods, and distribution.
Furthermore, they organize a “competition club” for a limited period of time to prepare for a specific open annual competition,
cooperating for analysis on annual specifications or awards of the open contest, sharing experiences of previous participants, and learning from critiques by their academic advisers.
Exhibition / Fashion Show
전시/패션쇼
1학년의 필수과목인 ‘조형연습1, 2’ 수업에서 학생들은 몸을 매개로 한 조형예술을 연습하고 이를 전시와 패션쇼로 발표한다.
1학기말에는 구두 형상의 조형물을 전시하며, 2학기말에는 의상 형상의 조형물을 패션쇼로 발표한다.
이때 무대설치, 모델섭외, 홍보 등의 기획 및 실행은 학생들이 스스로 분업 진행한다.
In the 'Formative Practice 1 and 2’ courses, which are required for the first-year students, students practice design arts through the body and present the results in exhibitions and fashion shows. At the end of the first semester, products are displayed in the form of shoes. At the end of the second semester, products are displayed in the form of costumes in the fashion show. For this show, the students share planning and production with one
another, such as stage installation, model recruiting, and publicity.
졸업패션쇼
Graduation Fashion Show
의상디자인학과의 가장 큰 행사인 ‘졸업패션쇼’는 작품제작만이 아니라 연출, 무대, 영상, 음악, 모델, 촬영, 포스터/브로슈어 등 전문적 역량이 종합되어 완성된다. 행사와 관련된 모든 영역의 수행은 4학년 총연출이 중심이 되어 1~3학년의 스탭들로 구성되는 ‘졸업패션쇼 준비위원회’가 담당하며, 이때 축적된 경험은 매년 선후배의 관계로 전해져 완성도를 더한다. 졸업패션쇼 이후에는 교내에서 전시회를 개최하여 관객의 범위를 넓힌다.
The ‘Graduation Fashion Show’, which is the biggest event of the Department of Fashion Design, is composed not only of production but also professional competence such as direction, stage, video, music, model, photography, and poster/brochure.
The execution of all the areas related to the event is carried out by the ‘Graduation Fashion Show Preparatory Committee’, which is composed of the first-year and third-year student staff, under the direction of a fourth-year student.
The know-hows for the Show are shared through the alumni network each year. After the Graduation Fashion Show, an on-campus exhibition is held to broaden the audience
